Terms & Conditions/ Important Information
For Frequently Asked Questions please see individual pages with class information.
THE SAFETY OF YOU AND YOUR CHILD(REN)
You are responsible for yourself and your children at all times and must ensure they are safe in the pool area, changing areas and anywhere else in the building or outside/ carparks. Please pay attention to any safety signs or signs on where you should not go. Please ensure you read the document relating to your venue for any specific safety information. Your teacher is safety and first aid trained but there is no additional lifeguard on duty at any of the pools. Do not get into the pool until your class start time and when your teacher is present.
-
Please do not put your child in a regular nappy which is not designed for swimming; these will swell with water and weigh your baby down. Babies should wear a double swim nappy (see below)
-
Spectators, including older/ responsible children are welcome to watch, dependent upon the space available at the pool. Please message to check first so we can ensure the pool is not overcrowded. The poolside will often have toys/ class items on it and the spectator is responsible for their own safety when walking around these items.
-
By booking a class, you agree to adhere to the pool rules which will be sent to you by e-mail
HEALTH & HYGIENE
-
UN-POTTY TRAINED CHILDREN MUST WEAR A DOUBLE NAPPY: For example, a disposable swim nappy with a tight fit neoprene swim nappy such as a 'splash about' on top. The top layer should fit snugly around the waist and legs. Upon booking you will have a document sent to you explaining this in full. This swimwear is essential and is to stop any poo entering the pool which can cause a pool closure of up to 72 hours. If you come to the pool without the correct swimwear for your baby, you may not be permitted entry and no refund will be given for this.

-
For babies under 4 months or 12lbs, it is also advised that they wear a warm suit/ wrap. For all others if they are happy and warm enough then just the swim nappy is fine so that they can feel the water better and have free movement, however you judge your own child and whether they are warm enough or need an extra layer.

-
Please shower before using the pool.
-
Please do not come swimming if you or our baby are unwell. Follow NHS Guidelines on when to return and be aware that some illnesses can require up to two weeks away from swimming. As well as risking passing on an illness to others, it is also not a great experience for your little one if they aren’t feeling well and may put them off wanting to come again.
PHOTOS
Please ensure you mark YES or NO to photos on your booking information.
-
If you have selected YES: Pictures of you and your baby will be taken freely by the instructor. These will all be uploaded to the private Facebook group where you are welcome to save them from. Photos may be shared on social media and used for publicity.
-
If you have selected NO: No pictures will be taken of you.
Please do not take your own pictures or videos or allow any spectators to do so.
USE OF YOUR DATA
-
We only request information which is needed for the class. This information is deleted once you stop attending.

-
Whilst you are attending, your e-mail and phone number may be used to send e-mails/ texts relating to the class. This is necessary to ensure you have all the information you need and cannot be opted out of.
-
If you ‘subscribe’ your e-mail on the website, this will be used for marketing purposes and to keep you up to date when new timetables or classes are released. If you want to be taken off the mailing list at any time just click the unsubscribe button.
MISSED CLASSES AND CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation of your place:

FULL TERM BOOKINGS AND/OR INDIVIDUALLY BOOKED CLASSES/ FITNESS CLASSES - Once paid this cannot be refunded or transferred in the event you are no longer able to attend.
MONTHLY PAYMENTS – One full months’ notice must be given to cancel places which are paid by monthly direct debit..

Classes you are unable to attend due to sickness, holiday etc.
These cannot be deferred/ carried over to the next block, refunded or attended by anyone in your place (other adults can bring your baby, but your place can't be transferred to another baby). There may sometimes be opportunity to do a different class in the same week if there is space available but this is not guaranteed. Part terms (terms with gaps) cannot be booked, as you book and pay for a place in the term rather than just the dates you are able to attend. Unfortunately the costs of running the classes are incredibly high and these costs are all still incurred even in the event that an unforeseen event or illness occurs and you are unable to attend.
Classes cancelled by Bubbles and Babbles
Class cancellations are always be a last resort. If your teacher is unavailable, every effort will be made to cover the class with a suitable teacher. If this is not possible, or the class is cancelled for another reason such as an issue with the pool or the venue then:
-
An additional class/ classes will be added on to the end of the block on the same day you normally swim.
-
If this is not possible then you will be offered a different class to attend (to be agreed in advance with you)

Only in the event of the above not being possible to arrange, then a credit/ credits will be given.
Refunds are not an option under these circumstances.

Class times
Your class will include times for getting in and out of the pool.
PRIVATE CUSTOMER GROUP
-
Customers are welcome to join the private Facebook group

-
This is the quickest and easiest way of sharing information with everyone. This is also where all photos are uploaded after the class. Please ensure you download and save any photos which you require as they are regularly deleted and instructors do not keep copies. The group can also be used to sell/ give away any old swimwear/ swimming related items that you may have. Please also check the ‘files’ section for videos of the venues to give you an idea of what they are like.

-
To join the group you must be a current customer and will need to provide your class information in your request to join.
